Cask Corner & Bordello Cocktail Bar

Cask Corner is free of all ties, with a unique twist, it is a quirky venue with an assortment of weird and wonderful things on the walls, floor and ceiling (all contributed by customers), a coffin in the window, a cyclist ironing on the ceiling not to mention Clive the resident mannequin!

We have 10 real ales, 2 real ciders, over 50 bottled beers from around the world, a guest foreign beer which changes every week and several lagers and other ciders. We don’t sell the same products as the other bars either (there’s not an alcopop in sight). We also offer the following to our customers, board games dotted around the bar and a packed bookcase upstairs in the ‘Bordello” themed Cocktail Bar, a large sunny outdoor smoking area which we regularly enter into the Doncaster in Bloom awards (everything we plant is grown by us and planted by us), fantastic Live bands every weekend, Salsa Classes on Monday evenings, Live Music on Tuesday at “Live & Gigging” (which is for up an coming bands), Open Mic every Wednesday night, Quiz night every Thursday night and regular Comedy nights and once a year a Burlesque Chair Dance evening! All our events are FREE!! (apart from Salsa classes)

There’s something for everyone from 18 or 80. Everybody is guaranteed a warm welcome, customers can also bring their own food in as long as they buy a drink or they can purchase one of Doncasters finest Toppings Pork Pies from us. We also offer free pop to designated drivers!

We sponsor a local football team who are top of the league and wear the name Cask Corner with pride.

We support local businesses too, we have posters advertising Yorkshire Pie House and orders can be placed at the bar and they deliver to food to the customers so they don’t even have to leave if they’re peckish.

We have craft markets supporting local crafters towards Christmas and are planning on making these a more regular feature.

We have book signings organised in conjunction with Doncaster Library and a local book store which have been very well received, especially the one last month featuring a Doncaster author.

We try to ensure all our events fit in with those in the Doncaster Community, we have many local bands play during Doncasters music festival MAPFest and are currently getting ready for Doncasters first Steampunk weekend with a Music Hall Variety Show planned featuring lots of local talent. This will be followed later in the year by Cask Fest which fits in with the Romans In Doncaster (last year we had a bar full of Roman Soldiers in full uniform!)

Also we care about our customers and there is a really friendly happy atmosphere the minute you walk through the door.
